Block & Bridle is a
nationally recognized Agriculture club with college organizations
located throughout the country. One of 89 active clubs in the country,
the WVU Block & Bridle club upholds the goals proposed by the
national club. These goals are:
To promote a higher scholastic
standard and a more complete understanding of the field of Animal
Sciences among student members.
To promote Animal Sciences through the development of a program of
activities, especially all phases of student Animal Science work in
colleges and Universities.
To bring about a closer relationship among all students pursuing some
phase of the Animal Sciences as a profession.
The Club has a number of
annual events for fundraising and community service. Meetings are
generally held once every two weeks. See the calendar for meeting
