Research
My primary research interests are in economic policy, particularly as it related to regional economics and development
and related issues in labor markets, human capital, geographic and
occupational mobility, and demographic change. Secondary interests are in
resource management.
Most of my publications fall into one of the following three categories:
- Regional economics (regional, rural, and local development);
- Labor issues (human capital, labor mobility, demographic change); and
- Resource management (amenities, planning, and energy).
