2000 Consultant, UN Economic Commission for Asia (UNESCAP), March-September.
Local consultant and coordinator to UNESCAP sponsored International Training Program in Calcutta for energy managers in industries. First program of this kind in eastern India and only the third in India. Conceived, designed, and presented entire program. In charge of all technical and administrative activities specially budget allocation, project management and liaison officer of this program on behalf of the Indian Institute of Social Welfare and Business Management . Also consultant to all the participating companies for their detail plant energy audit projects, submitted to UNESCAP .
2000 Consultant to TISCO(Tata Iron & Steel Co.) on their project for reducing Specific energy consumption, coal consumption and LDO for boilers upto the international standard. Also a detail study was done on their captive power plant and its efficiency.
Consultant to ITC( Indian Tobacco Co.) on their building energy audit and HVAC system along with lighting arrangement to reduce electricity consumption.
Consultant to CESC( Calcutta Electricity Supply Corporation) for their Budge-Budge plant to provide guidance for reducing the auxiliary power consumption maintaining all other supply undisturbed.
Consultant to Woodlands Hospital for their project work on A/C load reduction and reduction in power consumption through other HVAC equipments.
Consultant to Hindustan Level Ltd. for their detail energy audit specially for specific energy consumption of soap manufacturing process. Also a detail study was done for changing operating schedule according to TOD ( Supply tariff structure) to reduce energy bill and also to find out the possibility of solar heating system installation.

1999

World Bank project for Energy Efficiency study (DSM Project) of Water Supply & Drainage Sewerage System of Calcutta Municipal Corporation , May-November.
Responsible for various technical measurements, e.g power, flow, pressure etc. with state of the art instruments and analysis of the data to find out the level of inefficiencies. I also worked as project administrative coordinator for project scheduling, work load distribution, and report preparation.

1999

Energy Efficiency study of 240TR Central Air Conditioning plant at Calcutta for Indian Airlines Ltd.
Worked on 240TR central A/C plant to determine performance level and measure overall efficiency through detailed auditing of the cooling load areas. Made recommendation for improvement based on analysis.

Nature study, mountaineering, rock climbing, horseback riding
