Henry W. Miller Scholarship

Non-endowed fund to provide scholarships to outstanding students majoring in Horticulture. Award is given based on excellence in scholarship, citizenship, and service. Financial need will also be considered. Recipient will be from the eastern panhandle or western Maryland.

Endowment to provide scholarships to outstanding graduate students completing course work or research in agricultural microbiology. Preference will be given to students presenting papers at professional conferences and seminars, or exhibiting exceptional academic performance.

Pest Control Operators Association of West Virginia Scholarship

Two awards given to sophomores, juniors, or seniors currently enrolled in areas of study related to pest control or management within the Plant & Soil Sciences Division.

WV Garden Club Scholarship

This scholarship is sponsored by the Federated Garden Clubs of Maryland, who award scholarships to Maryland residents attending WVU Davis College. Recipient shall be a Maryland resident studying horticulture, botany, and related areas.

West Virginia Master Gardener Scholarship

This scholarship provides financial support for students in the division of Plant & Soil Sciences. The student must maintain a 2.5 or better GPA, and must be a WV resident. In addition to the application, the student must submit two letters of recommendation and a 100 word or less essay about “Why I want this scholarship”.
